G4S is close to reaching a compensation deal with the Locog, the Olympic organising committee.
The security firm G4S was criticised at the 2012 Olympic Games in London for failing to deliver 10,400 security guards.
G4S worth £284m was unable to recruit enough people in time. About 3,500 extra troop were required to support the security of the London Games. G4S admitted in December 2012 that the Olympic contract had cost it £50m.
I would also say that the G4S brand was tarnished and will take many years to win the business and public confidence again.
