Horizon has offices in London, East Midlands -Nottingham, North East - Newcastle and Kent - Maidstone. We supply static and mobile security services throughout the UK.
What geographical areas do you cover?
We provide cover throughout the UK; we will be there when you need us. There is no job that is too small, too big, or too far away. All Greater London areas covered: Essex, Kent, Surrey, Middlesex and the rest of the UK.
Are you able to provide 24 hour cover, 365 days per year?
Yes – Horizon Security is able to provide quality 24 hours manned guarding services 365 day per year with full mobile supervisor support and a control room that is manned around the clock.

Are you a Member of the Contractor Approved Scheme (ACS)?
Yes. The Private Security Industry Act 2001 requires the SIA to establish a "system of inspection for providers of security services, under which those organizations who satisfactorily meet the agreed standards may be registered as approved, and may advertise themselves as such".
All of our security officers are fully vetted and licensed professionals, approved by the SIA (Security Industry authority). License status of security personnel is checked on a weekly basis.
How are your staff trained ?
To remain competitive in an ever changing market place, Horizon Security recognises that training plays an important part in meeting customer’s expectations regarding the security of their premises and the well-being and safety of their staff and visitors.
This training may be for the site familiarization, for an advanced training on the security systems on the premises, for external training for first aid, fire marshal duties or for advances in customer care skills.
The two-day basic training as provided by the company covers such topics as:
- Security Services
The roles and responsibilities and service to the customer
Fire, Health & Safety, and Emergencies
Pace 1984, Criminal & Civil law and Criminal Offences
- Security Functions
Access control, Patrolling, Search, Security & emergency systems
Radio communication and report writing
This together with a program of training and retraining every 6 months, you are assured that the teams of officers securing your business are the very height of their game.
What standards have you met?
Our quality management system has been tested and approved by the most demanding standards authorities, including those aspects specific to the manned guarding and associated services industry. We are accredited with the ISO 9001:2000 (Quality) and ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental) management systems standards, in order to facilitate the integration of quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems and organisations. We are also accredited with Investors in People, Link Up, UVDB and the Safe Contractor scheme.
What infrastructures would be put in place to run contracts?
A well managed & supervised team would be assembled to suit each individual project based on its specific requirement.
